About the Journal

1. KOMUNITAS: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF INDONESIAN SOCIETY AND CULTURE (p-ISSN 2460-7312, e-ISSN 2460-7320) is published by the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Semarang in cooperation with Association of Indonesian Anthropologists.
2. Published twice a year, in March and September, KOMUNITAS publishes original research papers on Indonesian society and culture from sociological and anthropological perspective (See Focus and Scope).
3. KOMUNITAS is a peer reviewed journal. We do not guarantee manuscript acceptance or very short peer review times.
4. KOMUNITAS is indexed by DOAJ, Google Scholar, JournalTOC, Ebsco, Garuda and every article is given a unique DOI.

Harmonia [p-ISSN 2541-1683 | e-ISSN 2541-2426] is published by Departement of Drama, Dance, and Music, Faculty of Language and Arts, Universitas Negeri Semarang in cooperation with Asosiasi Profesi Pendidik Sendratasik Indonesia (AP2SENI)/The Association of Profession for Indonesian Sendratasik Educators. Harmonia published scientific papers on the results of art research and art education (see Focus and Scope). KEMAS: Jurnal Kesehatan Masyarakat [P-ISSN 1858-1196 | E-ISSN 2355-3596] publised by Universitas Negeri Semarang in collaboration with Ikatan Ahli Kesehatan Masyarakat Indonesia (IAKMI Tingkat Pusat) and Jejaring Nasional Pendidikan Kesehatan (JNPK). KEMAS publishes the article based on research or equivalent to research results in public health or other disciplines related to public health that has not been loaded/published by other media. The journal contains articles about epidemiology and biostatistics, health policy and administration, public health nutrition, environmental health, occupational health and safety, health promotion, reproductive health, maternal and child health, and other related articles in public health. The journal can be used by health practitioners, health caregivers, teachers, medical students, and people who are interested in public health issues. The journal was first published in July 2005. Since 2022, the journal were published quarterly a year in July, October, January, and April. Starting October 2022, articles in KEMAS Journal have been accepted for indexing to Scopus.

Paramita: Historical Studies Journal, a peer review journal, is published by History Department, Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Semarang in collaboration with Masyarakat Sejarawan Indonesia (Indonesian Historical Society). Paramita  firstly was published in 1990 based on SIT: No. 100/ PT 36 H.FIS/ 1990 and ISSN: 0854-0039. Paramita: Historical Studies Journal also has elecronic ISSN: 2407-5825. Since 2016, Paramita: Historical Studies Journal has accredited (A) based on Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Penguatan Riset dan Pengembangan Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi Republik Indonesia No: 36a/E/KPT/2016, issued on 23 Mei 2016.  Since 2018-2020, Paramita: Historical Studies Journal is categorized as Peringkat I (Sinta I) based on Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Penguatan Riset dan Pengembangan, Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi Republik Indonesia Nomor 30/E/KPT/2018 tentang Hasil Akreditasi Jurnal Ilmiah periode 2 tahun 2018. Since 2020-2024 our journal still categorized as Peringkat I (Sinta I) based on Keputusan Menteri Riset dan Teknologi/Kelapa Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasioinal Nomor 200/M/KPT/2020 tentang Peringkat Akreditasi Jurnal Ilmiah Periode 3 tahun 2020.

Every year Paramita publishes thirty articles for two issues in March and September. Journal of Physical Education Health and Sport

Journal of Physical Education Health and Sport is the Journal of the by the Physical Education and Sport Department Universitas Negeri Semarang. The Journal has a particular focus on physical education and sport research-based articles (approximately 7000 words) that make reference to other critical work in the field and/or discuss particular issues of practice-focused research within the specific professional fields of health, sport and physical education. Editorial will privilege those articles that explore and provide a depth of understanding of the complex inter-relationship between developing/improving practice through the production of knowledge. The Journal will focus on the forms, contents and contexts of health education, sport and physical education as they relate to schools, universities and other forms of educational provision.

The emphasis of the Media Ilmu Kolahragaan Indonesia is on the human sciences, broadly defined and applied to sport and exercise. Jurnal Bahan Alam Terbaurkan is a scientific journal which is focusing on the research, development and applications in biomass conversion processes (thermo-chemical conversion; physicochemical conversion and bio-chemical conversion) and equipment to produce fuels, power, heat, and value-added chemicals from biomass. Public Health Perspective Journal [p-ISSN 2528-5998 | e-ISSN 2540-7945] publishes original papers, reviews and short reports on all aspects of the science, philosophy, and practice of public health. It is aimed at all public health practitioners and researchers and those who manage and deliver public health services and systems. It will also be of interest to anyone involved in provision of public health programmes, the care of populations or communities and those who contribute to public health systems in any way (see Focus and Scope).

The Journal of Private and Commercial Law is a scientific publication dedicated to the fields of Private and Commercial Law, as well as related disciplines. It was initiated by the Department of Private and Commercial Law, Faculty of Law at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Indonesia. The primary objective of the journal is to facilitate scholarly and professional discussions on current legal developments in Indonesia. Additionally, it aims to showcase innovative legal research focusing on Indonesian laws and the legal system. To ensure accessibility to a global audience interested in Indonesian law discourse, the journal is exclusively published in English. The Journal of Private and Commercial Law warmly welcomes contributions from international legal scholars and professionals, as well as representatives from courts, executive authorities, and relevant agencies. By doing so, it seeks to foster a diverse and comprehensive exchange of ideas and insights in the field.

The content of the journal encompasses various novel topics concerning Indonesian laws and the legal system. The review includes a broad range of legal scholarship, covering fields such as: Private Law, Commercial Law, Private International Law, Intellectual Property, Trade Law, Sharia Law, Adat Law, Banking Law, Consumer Protection Law, Insurance Law, Anthropology of Law, Sociology of Law, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
